Chapter 26. Solution #1: Speak Life And Blessing
Upon Yourself And Family
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ;
I feel compelled to share with you a Revelation of The Tongue which
our Lord Jesus gave me. This insight helped me greatly and I know it
will help you too! The Lord revealed to me (regarding my own personal
situation) that there is power in the tongue, in the sense that WHAT
WE SPEAK AND THINK affects us in the spirit world and therefore it
AFFECTS OUR LIVES.
The enemy (satan’s kingdom) is out to steal, kill and destroy us.
(John 10:10); also, he is the father of lies(John 8:44), so don’t
let the enemy deceive or trick you; always ask God for wisdom,
knowledge and discernment. (I Cor. 12:1 and I Cor. 2:14).
THE BATTLE BEGINS IN OUR MINDS, before we speak anything, so our
thoughts need to be carefully controlled. (2 Cor. 10:5 & Eph.
4:23)
Remember to daily speak words of faith, hope and Biblical truth;
giving thanks always to the Lord. Hold on tight to the vision (plans)
God gave you, because the enemy will try to steal it from you. Don’t
let him rob you of your heavenly joy through your own negative words
and thoughts. Hold on to hope through your faith in Jesus. Did you
know you can lie to yourself? Yes, it’s possible, because if you
believe every promise our loving God placed in His Holy Word, the
Bible, then when you speak defeat or hopelessness, you are lying to
yourself!!! You can’t have it both ways, believing all the
life-affirming statements God has spoken through His prophets, and
yet, in your heart, you can’t or won’t accept them as true for your
life. Who do you think God was thinking of with the promise, “I can
do all things through Christ who strengthens me”?? Do you suppose He
was thinking, “well that applies to everyone in the world EXCEPT fill
in your name? No! God is no respecter of persons. This promise is
true for everyone who has put their trust in Christ, period!! Now when
you believe this lie you have told to yourself, you have given the
enemy the right to attack you!! Yes, you have granted him permission
to worsen and magnify depression and hopelessness when you believe the
lies you have told to yourself! The devil plays dirty. Your negative
words and thoughts have the power of death and destruction! They must
be rooted out before they destroy you. When a negative thought pops
into your mind, immediately take authority over it! Rebuke it and cast
it out with the above verse or any of the Power Verses the Lord has
given us, to defeat satan and throw the powerful word of God at him,
leaving him devastated and incapable of entering the fortress of
protection you have built around you, by repeating those Power Verses
you have committed to memory which cover your situation.
